Jana is of Australian and Maori (Nga Puhi) decent and appreciates all cultures and individuals, she resides on the Central Coast of NSW Australia with her husband, daughter, dog, cat - and an array of wild birdlife. She is a mother to two children; Micah who is held dearly in our hearts and Dawn Marama her little wild child.
Jana McLeod works with adults who are seeking support in navigating life changes, difficult circumstances or challenging experiences whilst giving reverence, compassion and support to the heart as it guides an authentic way forward.
Her work involves creative, therapeutic and practical resources drawn on her professional counselling and art therapy. She is informed by the teachings and modalities of psychotherapy, counselling, transpersonal art therapy, psychology and traditional healing practices such as; expressive and intuitive arts, traditional bodywork and communion with nature/ecopsychology.
Jana has received specific training to support bereaved parents and women suffering pregnancy anxiety with SANDS Australia, Red Nose and COPE - Centre of Perinatal Excellence.

Included in Jana's personal development and education includes working with Jackie Harvey - Pihipono Healing 12 Hawks in Traditional Maori Healing, Vicki Dean & Gabriella Ming - Cert III Transformational Mask - Circalore, studies, Community Services with TAFE NSW, Sustainable Development with Murdoch University and BA Health sciences with the University of Auckland.
